Welcome to my showcase! Here you will find different projects and assignments that I created while working towards my Master of Arts in Education through MSU. These artifacts are great representations of the work that I have done over the past two years. The use of technology has been a big support and has allowed me to show my knowledge in many different ways.
This portfolio was created in the final stages of my Masters classes. It's intention was to provide an insight in my learning style. It also showcases past and present work.

I created this website in 2013 at the beginning of my Masters program. It was in my intention to provide people with different resources to make an effective environment in the classroom. The ideas of inclusion and assistive technology are discussed in this site. Another link on the site describes PBIS. Overall, this website is a great resource for parents who want more information as well as teachers who are looking for ideas for the classroom.

This powerpoint was created to provide detailed information about PBIS. It discusses the rationale to replace behaviors with more appropriate ones. It also shares tips for how to begin PBIS in schools. For people interested in learning more about PBIS and its idea, this powerpoint provides great information for the reader.
This project was designed to describe an intervention of a student in one of my recent classes. The slides describe the reasoning behind the intervention and the steps I followed throughout an intervention. These slides can provide ideas for those who are interested in planning an intervention on a child.
This powerpoint provides detail about an intervention given on a preschooler. It was done in the hopes of improving social interactions and behavior problems. For readers who are interested in interventions, a key detail is the importance of parent involvement.
This Autism Powerpoint provides information to readers about autism including early signs of autism. IEPs are also discussed.Autism is becoming one of the fastest growing disabilities. With an increase in ASD diagnosis comes the awareness of the needs of children with ASD.
This case study allowed me to gain experience in relation to observations of individuals with ASD. With the guidelines of this study, I was able to develop an understanding of the referral process as well as summarize information I obtained from the classroom.
I chose a student in my classroom to evaluate their literacy skills. Assessments were given and used to guide my teaching instruction. In this essay, the results as well as the growth of the student are documented.
