Welcome to Room 111
Below are listed websites and resources that I find useful for my students outside the classroom:
Websites:
-Spelling City
www.spellingcity.com
This website provides students the opportunity to practice their spelling words in a fun manner! There are many games available to give students an extra practice before a big test!

-Starfall
www.starfall.com
This website is a great phonics resource for students to help with their reading.
iPad educational apps:
Listed below are apps available through Apple that provide educational as well as fun games. There are many math, reading and spelling apps available for kids of all ages! iPads are another great tool to use in the classroom to bring in technology as well as provide extra help!
1. Motion Math: Hungry Guppy
2. Toontastic
3. Book Creator
4. Stack the States
5. Jungle Time
6. Brain Quest: Blast Off!
7. Ready to Learn Reading
-IXL
www.ixl.com
This website has a ton of information! Math and Language Arts are both included on it. You can use it to practice addition sentences or learn more about a verb in a sentence. It is also based on grade level which is a nice feature. On their homepage it states that this website is practice that feels like play-and I agree!
